Cancellations Or Issues:
It is the referee's responsibility to evaluate the field conditions upon arrival at the field. Safety of the players is of utmost importance. If the field is unsafe or dangerous the ref will cancel the game and inform coaches of his/her decision. This is a referee decision, NOT THE COACH. If there is thunder/lightning, get the kids to safety and wait 30 minutes before continuing the game. As long as the field is playable, games should be played in the rain.

Scoring
- A team that is winning by a wide margin shall discreetly and quietly refrain from scoring.
- If a team goes up by 5 goals they must remove a player from the field. If the team then goes up by 6 goals they must remove a second player. If the goal differential becomes 4 or less the team may replace the second removed player. If the goal differential becomes 3 or less the team may replace the first removed player.
- There should never be a goal differential of 7 or more. No one wants to be on the winning end or losing end of lopsided score. We are here to promote good sportsmanship, fair play and having FUN.
Miscellaneous
- Referees will explain throw-ins, free kicks and goalie possession during team inspections.
- Handball is a judgement call by the referee. If ball plays the hand...no call. If hand plays the ball...handball.
- Throw-ins: Allow a "do over" through mid season and none toward end of season.
- Goal Keepers: If they go outside the box, they must kick or throw the ball from inside the box.
- Substitutions: Allowed on either team's thrown-ins AND goal kicks
- Offside: If players are offside, play will be stopped.
- No slide tackles or headers
- The winning coach needs to report back to me with the final score.
