Kindergarten

The goals of this Division are to teach the kids basic soccer skills/fundamentals and to encourage and enforce good sportsmanship and team play. We want the kids to have fun while learning the game of soccer.  We do our best to group practices for kids by the school they will be attending in the fall.   
  • Shin guards must be worn at all times (underneath socks). 
  • Bracelets, necklaces and earrings (no tape!) are not allowed to be worn during games and practices. 
  • Soccer cleats (recommended) and sneakers are all allowed. But baseball/softball cleats are not allowed. Metal or sharp cleats are also not allowed. 
  • Every player will receive a  Mahwah Soccer t-shirt.
