Do let the best player hog the ball, and use her as an example to other players
Games/scrimmages should be played 4v4 without goalies allowing everyone a chance to score thus maximizing FUN

- Kids at this age are beginning to develop self-concept, body awereness and self-image through movement.
- They are egocentric, see the world only from their point of view and they all want the ball.
- They all need generous praise and want to play without pressure.
- Most influential person in their lives is their mother or the significant parent.
- They may verbalize team, but do not fully comprehend group or collective play. They can only do one task at a time and process small pieces of information at a time.
- Emphasize game play that they can relate to such as pirates, Ninja Turtles, etc..
